@dancounsell I also haven't seen hard evidence that MAS is a net positive over the long term when all the factors are taken into account. -
@milend yeah, that's a hard one. As some point we might add Typed to the MAS so it'd be interesting to see how the launch goes there. -
@dancounsell The problem is making a good test for direct vs MAS means only having either over a long period of time - which in impractical.

@dancounsell I guess you're up with the new VAT rules for selling eProducts in the EU. Rules in effect 1/1/15 -
@stevecounsell doesn't effect us as Apple/FastSpring handles all of that for us ;) Boom!http://info.fastspring.com/blog/2015-vat-changes … -
@dancounsell Cools :) - thought you'd be on top of that. Just wanted to make sure ;)

@dancounsell and that you can provide discounts with paid upgrades to your loyal customers, something not possible on the MAS. -
@dancounsell Exactly what I've been meaning to write for a while. Very nice. A+++ would read again. -
@dancounsell good points. Typo on "realises". -
@dancounsell never looked at it that way. Thanks for the heads up -
@dancounsell Apple fees are immense. Did you compare numbers of sales pre/post App Store submission?Apples sell point is: Exposure. True?
