You’re arguing disingenuously. Unionizing is an inherently political act. There are plenty of reasons workers do it. Safer working conditions, fair treatment/pay, more representation/control over business decisions, etc. Sexual harassment, unjust dismissals were part of this too
Unions are about power. Money is one way bosses control workers, but it is far from the only one. If Kickstarter employees feel they need to unionize to have a voice in negotiations, it’s for collective power.
It’s also not surprising when that collective power makes the bosses and people in the VC industry uncomfortable. Good. It should.
Nah, it’s a short week. I’m not gonna spend it arguing with a disingenuous stooge who believes “political activism” is a negative. As my grandfather said, there’s no need to push a boulder that’s already going downhill.
