the queues for the loos weren't that long...we have them every 500-700m along the 7 mile strip, some people just did disgusting things ...and some of them were also kept open overnight

The government funding more public toilets so as to reverse the closures of the 673 public toilets that have been shut since Tories started austerity in 2010 would be more useful than building more prisons.

I thought it wasn't a statutory duty for local authorities to provide them? It is, however, against the law to relieve yourself in public. As ever, it is your own responsibility to plan ahead --- don't drive 2.5 hours to the coast unless you're sure there's an open WC there.
