I’ve literally had Uber Drivers run red lights and go the wrong way on freeways and tell me “I guess I should’ve stopped after 2 beers” or the time I had a driver tell me within 3 minutes of being in her car “are you trying to get f**ked tonight”

Drivers are completely ruthless, unsafe, and irresponsible. I can’t think of a time I felt safe in one.
-
Then why do you keep getting in one?
-
I haven’t got in one since the last incident.

This is too easy, one driver tried to hit my wife with a $150 cleanup charge claiming my kids urinated in the backseat. They initially refused to refund, took multiple more emails and telling them I was a lawyer.
#VomitFraud -
Heard many stories about the cleanup charge fraud.

Use taxis for now on. They also have apps and are better regulated. Because Uber is a tech company, they are allowed free rein by our stupid politicians.
-
...and the problem is that they’re NOT really a tech company
-
Their tech is shit. Ask anybody who relies on their app to earn a living. Ask anyone who's ever had the displeasure of using pool. Ask anybody who has had to deal with their customer service. How this company exists and how people continue to use them when there are other options

Look s like Uber support found this thread.

I say they should have ‘mystery riders’ just like restaurants ‘mystery shoppers’. Have an employee secretly documenting a faux ride or give a free ride and instructions to the rider on filming or rating the experience. (Not just randoms). Just an idea I’ve always had
-
I have several Uber horror stories from a 5 month no car span I went through.
