Covering 9/11 here in New York 17 years ago was probably the most difficult event I've ever covered. It wasn't just a story. It was personal. . .an attack on me, on us. We were all afraid for what could happen next.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4RSMHHgHXk …

I agree completely #DanAbrams 💔 It WAS personal, it was an attack on UR city, our country, but the world. I get that. I can't get over 9/11. The tears keep falling.😢 Though MOST of the USA has forgotten us & our tragedy in Vegas, I'll #NeverForget either one. 🙏💔🙏😢🙏

Four of our girls where at school that day. Called schools to see if our kids were ok. Our oldest was getting married in a month...it was so damned scary!! We were glued to coverage on tv afraid to breathe for fear of what was coming next. I hope we never go thru that again!

I still remember exactly what I was doing when my husband called me to look at the tv. It was terrifying, shocking, unbelievable, all at the same time. I felt numb.

I was in seventh grade German, and developed a severe fear of flying afterwards. I feel so so bad for all of the people and families affected.

My children were 9,6,&4. It was the hardest trying to explain to them what happened. Every year on this day we discussed what happened. As they grew older they became to understand. Even though they are grown we still talk about this. This family will NEVER forget

I was at work and we had the radio on. When it came across we all just stopped, floored and unable to believe that it was real. Our boss joined us on the floor and we all just cried and hugged each other
