What if it is 17 not guilty. What a disaster that would be.

Better hope for Manafort would be that the jury question was misunderstood by those watching. . .

request for new verdict sheet is confusing but not sure it tells us much. .

There's a very reasonable chance that "cannot come to a consensus on a single count" means "deadlocked on all of them."
-
Most juries would ask, “what if we can’t reach consensus on any of the counts?” I would guess that by saying single count, they meant one count. Time will tell.

I could not agree more Dan. Nor, if 17 counts are "guilty" will the resolution of the 18th count make any difference whatsoever for Manafort in terms if the sentence he is likely to receive. If they are hung on that count the government would most likely dismiss instead of retry.

Unless they went not-guilty on 17/18 and are confused about the 18th

The tax fraud will not be dropped. IRS will prosecute to get their $. How can Trump say that a man who defrauds the US out of taxes is a 'good man'?

Yes, I was trying to reinforce what you said. Trump's Good Man remarks bother me. How can he say that? If cheating the IRS is good, why is he Pres?

I don't get it either. Perhaps in mega rich circles that is just 'normal'.

The prosecution bungled the case. Left the jurors confused. He will walk.
-
The defense did nothing. Trump ran interference. If he walks, there should be a mistrial. The jury should have been sequestered. Crazy

I guess the Law only prosecutes Conservative Republicans. All Dems with their Blatant Crimes get a pass. I thought Justice was Blind.
-
Justice has 20/20 bruh, can't do the time, don't do the crime.
-
If that were only True. Half the Left would be in prison Bruh
-
If your original comment was correct, 45 would already be in prison, bruh.
