Thank you Dan for doing that. It’s not something easy to do for an officer. Usually causes years of problems and night mares. After 8 years I still have nightmares from mine. But I had and still have a great support team!

Thank you Dan. Did Sticks give you our U. S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force patch & Midland County Sheriffs Office challenge coin?

Thank you so much for your donation and recognition. 2 more shot and killed yesterday. 1 from my state of WI. If at all possible the fans of
#LivePD overwhelmingly want a brief mention of those that have fallen in the line of duty on the show. Thank you again! -
I seen an officer in AZ died and one injured when a suspect got the cops gun and used it! Just bc they aren’t armed themselves doesn’t mean they aren’t a risk! I hold law enforcement/military to high regard bc I know it takes a special person to put their life on the line.
-
Yes the other officer was the AZ officer. I lost end of watch of every line of duty death. Losing 2 in 1 day is awful. Losing 35 to gunfire this year is horrible. We are up 25% from last year in gunfire deaths. Unacceptable! We need to protect these officers!
-
It’s so sad and completely uncalled for! No one has the right to take another’s life.

I give to several funds for Police officers, firefighter and veterans. Our first responders should not draw their last breath at the call of the bell

You can donate to them. Everyone has a choice, no one forcing anyone.

I'm a big fan and will match your donation if you explain to me the legal basis on which the show can routinely shoot on private property.
-
The cameras ask permission to come inside a residence. Sometimes done on air and sometimes not. Anything else they are considered with the officers and go where they do.
-
I think even Dan would say that's a lawsuit waiting to happen, if it hasn't already.
-
Pretty sure they are smart enough to take care of those situations.
-
Nothing like getting people under duress to agree to a contract. I've done about 1,000 police ridealongs, have never been able to go on private property. And if you do, a good defense lawyer will have clients' cases thrown out.
-
And your point is? And relates how to
@danabrams donation? Pretty random. Focus. Try to stay focused. -
My point is Dan's a lawyer and legal analyst on TV, and he owes viewers an explanation on how this is legally done, that's all. Has nothing to do with the donation. That shouldn't be too hard to understand. It's not a criticism of the show, it's a valid legal question.
-
He actually doesn’t owe you anything. The same thing with the show Cops. There is something legally in place to protect them. I’m far from a “fan girl” at least pretend to be respectful. Watch the show or don’t
