    but if we can figure out how to reverse aging, eliminate infections, and eradicate kidney disease, we'll not have to confront the tremendous shortage in relevant expertise that otherwise might occur...meanwhile need to advocate for a better reimbursement system...2/3

    Happy to welcome great future ID docs to the ID fellowship training program! They'll have their pick of rewarding career options, it's a great time to go into ID. Sad to see that 38% of programs didn't fill, with even worse numbers for nephrology and geriatrics..1/2

    and are gracious hosts, kept me calm as I returned to 30 years after graduating (VUSM Class of '89!). Nashville has changed remarkably since then, but 208 Light Hall is exactly the same, so I was rattled by a few biochem flashbacks...
