    Trump swore so frequently during today’s immigration meeting that he ended up apologizing to Pelosi. He griped about impeachment. And he called the shutdown a “strike,” drawing puzzlement in the room.

    We're not allowed to take on outside employment w/o approval. So anyone doing so is in effect quitting their job. They literally sent us a reminder of this today.

    It's not clear on what basis. When agencies update their plans, it's to deal with new contingencies. But they either think they have legal authority to send refunds or they don't. And their plan says they don't.

    But who is paying for the plane? Almost all travel is supposed to be suspended. And several other of the US officials on the plane (Malpass) are at agencies that lost funding. I'm not sure there's any precedent for this.
