    These new Intel CPUs run *HOT* under sustained full load, wowsers. This is with a 360mm AIO. Might need to try some under-volting.

    Well with components on th bench & using Mario's AIO temps are fine, inc. in Cinebench. Will try swapping my AIO in while still on the bench to see if it's simply a bad unit.

    This is where being a lone PC builder is a real drag. If I had a shop full of parts I could do some troubleshooting by trying different coolers, boards, etc. but as is I'm just stuck 😧

    This is apparently correct, but I pulled apart & redid it anyway. I also removed the PCB cover from the pump housing just in case (apparent interference on some boards). Thumb screws on bottom (hose) side seem to not screw in as far as top side though...

    This build started well inc. a POST but the CPU temps were climbing very quickly so I shut it down. I suspect a cooler mounting or paste issue (looks uneven). Not sure if I got the LGA1700 adapter mounted correctly as it's more complicated than the AM4 version ...

    When building a backend api, what’s the thing you wished you didn’t have to do or was easier? What is hard/annoying every time you have to do it? I have an assumption on what the answer will most commonly be and want to see.
