Announcement time! This should not come as a surprise, but effective Jan 1, 2019, I will be “retiring” from esports. Basically what this means is that I will still be an owner of PSISTORM Gaming, but I will no longer be active in the running/administration of the team.
I will always love StarCraft. I will always love PSISTORM. I will keep playing, watching, and cheering like I always have. However, I have other interests and passions that I have been exploring, and I want to see where I can go with them.
Over the past year I had already taken a less active role with the team, and it just did not seem fair to anyone to keep splitting my time and attention in so many directions. I have full confidence that KJ will continue to do the same amazing job he has been.
Ok, now all that “being nice” stuff is out of the way, I will also say some harsh truths. I am in the minority here, but I stopped having fun playing when Legacy came out, and it just keeps becoming less fun for me. Thank god for co-op.
Also, yes, my decision to leave more permanently was influenced (at least in part) due to some of the community - yeah all that nation wars fiasco weighed in. Finally, I just wasn’t able to accomplish what I really wanted to in the sc2 scene.
I wanted to make a real difference and be part of the community. Unfortunately I just never seemed to make it happen. I was never one of the chosen. I never got a fancy coin or letter. I never got invited to a summit. Do those things really matter? No.
But after so many years of investment, it definitely felt like the nudge I needed to re evaluate what I was doing and if I was achieving my goals.
the true fans know what you brought to the scene. Thanks for your passion Damen! Hyped for the next AHGL 
Hopefully this means youll have more time to bully @Schamtoo. Its a public service and nobody give you enough credit
