“As Senator Murray said on the Senate floor in 2002, “we can act out of fear” or “we can stick to our principles.” Unfortunately, in this Senate, fear has had its way. In November, the American people will have theirs.”

Lack of access to child care has economic repercussions to the tune of $57 billion in lost earnings, productivity, and revenue—and even larger social implications. We are trying to change that.

To acquit a President, Republicans have crowned a King. Impeachment has laid bare the way forward: Democrats, progressives, socialists, never-Trumpers, and any other left-of-fascist groups must live together, or die alone My acquittal reax in

As you watch this vote, remember: this is when these senators show us who they really are. Believe them. Don’t forget. Hold them accountable.

Yesterday we tweeted that at DAME we don't do both sides, we don't call him Presidential for reading a teleprompter, we don't trade access for positive coverage. Why? Because we knew this 👇was coming.

Romney thing is a big deal for many reasons. one is the casual news consumer who may have blocked out much of impeachment chatter. he/she knows Romney was GOP nominee not long ago and hearing he’s voting to remove Trump will make big impact

It's crazy to think that if 20 people decided to make it happen, Pence could be president by sundown.

White House was completely caught off guard by Romney's vote. And within minutes of Romney's speech, the White House closed a Trump-Guaido meeting in the Oval Office that reporters had been invited to attend.

Why are we giving any headspace to whether Nancy Pelosi tore up a copy of Trump’s speech when there are kids in cages, no plan for climate change, white supremacy on the rise, healthcare at risk & we have a president who acts only in his own self-interest?

You can debate the optics of Speaker Pelosi tearing up President Trump's speech last night, but I believe it represents something bigger that pundits aren't realizing: the majority of American public realizing they no longer have a say in their own government. 1/n

Corporate altruism alone isn’t going to solve the childcare crisis - we’ve seen workers at & other cos have a hard time asking for childcare benefits. Excited to see push forward legislative change to support working families in CA & beyond cc
