we do not have one in Rider/R#… To be fair, generic code is not that common, not sure if it is worth the effort to implement “automatic generalization” for such cases. Do you have good examples why is this useful?

Not really. I'm not sure it's important either other than code and reasons for X get forgotten and abandoned over time and such warning help "heal" the code-base. I think it's super important. Honestly, I think it's more of a Roslyn type of warning, but who knows.
