That is a chicken and egg situation. So which came first? Are they suing Q-Anon for using their family motto as an oath?
-

Look, the Flynn family just really likes the 1996 Ridley Scott film "White Squall," what's the big deal?

Cult of packing court dockets for political notoriety. Interesting, how a brief blip, is now all over the media, because they sued. Not concerned about that notoriety, are they?

These lawsuits are about intimidating news outlets so they are afraid to report. Lawsuits have been used to undermine the free press in other places.

Luckily, in the modern age, CNN is a wealthy powerhouse with an esteemed fleet of lawyers - not exactly the same dynamic such a lawsuit might have had in the late 70's. Flynn's trying to intimidate, but he's bluffing; CNN is more than capable of dealing with this annoyance.
