Warrants are issued based on police request. Not like anybody argues on behalf of the target. Also, not clear this was a warranted arrest and all arrests do not require warrants.
That's comical. As if people get a fair shake when they get arrested, or even ticketed. As if "walks free" makes a good after a false arrest and all the trouble that arrest causes.

Iyour idea that there are no police officers who would "pick off a random person" is a bit misinformed. There is a lot of evidence that denies that, including testimonials from "good" cops who are stuck in the system and haven't been able to prevent it from happening. Just google
