We participated in an 8 min die-in for #GeorgeFloyd. Rest in power and love brother. This was right in front of the new $210 million dollar youth jail that is currently locking up 31 black and brown kids.

I live in WA as well and have seen how the protests in Seattle have gone. They NEVER stay peaceful, someone always ruins it by hitting a cop with a golf club, looting small local businesses, assaulting local business owners, assaulting people who were not protesting. It (1)

Ends up escalating to the point that the ones who are trying to peacefully protest end up being hurt. Totally unfair. Especially once certain hate groups show up and attempt tonrile up the crowd. It gets scary quickly. I got out of there QUICK when I was there once.

police are dressed up in militaristic riot gear with guns, pepper spray and batons and are STILL scared of peaceful protesting. shit’s insane. i hope all the protestors out there are staying safe!!
