There’s nothing better than when an actor takes a nothing line and makes it hilarious based on the delivery alone. Some people truly could make the phone book funny.

Only four states break even on road spending, but I'd love to hear more about how transit "doesn't make a profit."

The P/E ratio is flawed.
It’s an overused metric that easily deceives investors.
Here are 8 reasons why the P/E ratio can be INCREDIBLY misleading (and what metrics to use instead):

Das ist lustig: Die SP-Spitze in Basel stellt sich hinter den Rheintunnel und macht sich damit endgültig unglaubwürdig.
Liebe SP, schon gehört? Es gibt einen Abstimmungsentscheid bis 2037 klimaneutral zu sein.

No retort about free healthcare will ever be as disrespectful and insensitive as this one.
Wen you call the cops, you don’t get a bill.
When you call firefighters, you don’t get a bill.
When you call an ambulance, you do get a bill.

This round of layoffs in particular it feels clear that this isn't about a recession or profit or even worker quality. It's about fear induction. Lay off a bunch of people, and you grab a bit of power back out of the fear among the remaining. It is easier to exploit them.

I don't think anyone believes the car industry would be happy for city dwellers to use bicycles instead of cars. They need to sell cars.
So why do you think the car industry played such a major role in the promotion of bicycle helmets?
