In answering “How’s the bike?” after my deer collision last month, I finally got the answer. Cracked the head tube. So, that’s “game over” I’m afraid.

Don't do this. No they cant. Your lemond was Reynolds 853 heat treated to be welded once. If you want a new frame fast and semi local, I love my Gunnar Crosshairs. The Gunnar roadie may be a good alternative. Lemond's were known for long top tubes so pay attention in sizing.
