Personally, I think it's dicey at best and should probably be avoided if at all possible. Convince me otherwise.

So, closed a pipe being used by a different thread as part of a live demo today hoping that it would work. Caused Python to seg fault. Win!

I can call close() on soket after all threads have finished working with it. it is better to add the ability to finish the thread from outside.
