One of the most useful things I’ve learned later in my life/career is the value of putting yourself in uncomfortable learning situations.

Being a complete novice at something new. Learning things that kids often learn. Piano. Guitar. Tae Kwan Do. Whatever.

It always makes me happy to see or hear that someone is taking the first step toward learning to play music. I promise if you stick with it, you'll be glad. Don't sweat about learning too much. You only need to know 3 or 4 chords to have fun. Learn G C D you've mastered folk
