@slpng_giants Does Disney/Marvel/Fox really want a boycott if its divisions do business with someone who appears to be a murderer running Saudi Arabia?@hiattf@KarenAttiah@shaunking@ChuckWendigShow this thread

Why do we trust the Saudis again? It was Saudis that attacked us on 9/11. Did people just forget that?
-
Because they buy his apartments.

And our weapons.

Great that they decided to withdraw. Bizarre that this is the straw that broke the camel's back when Saudi Arabia has been a notorious human rights violator that has severely restricted the press freedoms in its own country for years and is using American weapons to kill kids.
-
15 seems to be their magic number: 15 Saudis sent to Turkey to kill Khashoggi, 15 Saudis sent to the US to kill Americans on 9/11

Richard Engel reports Jamal Khashoggi sync’d his iWatch with his iPhone before going into the embassy bldg bc he thought something bad might happen hence the recordings the Turks were talking about. I hope there is footage.

Why did a Saudi royal family private jet fly into Washington from Riyadh on Wed, left today? Saudi officials? A plane sent for Prince Khalid bin Salman (ambassador to US)?

The Prince must be arrested

Ok! What is the essential evidence to accuse them of
#JamalKhashoggiDisappeared ? All we’ve heard are rumors! How many stories have you heard yet? I really want to hear the truth and only the truth! By the way, the second picture is not real!pic.twitter.com/Sf3U77VGgy

The Senators know, Turkey knows, and Saudi Arabia knows. Saudi Arabia issued a lie for a response. He left on his own. He left in a few suitcases

Expect to see a significant tourist boycott of anything associated with the cold blooded killing of journalists.
-
Of Saudi Arabia? Tourist visas aren't even available to go there.
-
Yep. Not many appealing to Westerners perhaps. Mecca.
-
Yeah, you can't visit Mecca either for hajj unless you are Muslim and you need a permit. I don't know if there's appeal or not, it's just not allowed.
-
I assume many Muslims are also deeply troubled and may take steps to protest in various ways.
-
I've been thinking about that myself. Murder is against Islam, but voicing protest in an outside of KSA are two very different things. I have been waiting to hear from friends in Riyadh to see what the feeling is there. My guess is there is very restricted coverage.
