Does the data include any of Facebooks own segmentation assignment? (obviously Cambridge will have been doing that themselves as well)
They figured out how to reverse engineer the API. No doubt they have other data FB would rather not be made public they collect.
So there we have an answer. We know applications to scrape data were installed prior to the 2015 tightening of FB rules. It seems they may have just been left running. Feeling decidedly sick about PM data in particular. How can that be OK? Ever? Without a warrant?
