    Prescription for learning to code 💻 Step 1: Codecademy for HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, Ruby/Python Step 2: Random web apps that solve your own problems (Google all the bits you don't know) Programming tutorials can only keep you engaged so long. Step 2 is much more exciting.

    What my experience with Catsnatcher has taught me: 1. Think like a user - why are they there/paying? What's the value? Throw away/outsource everything else (including the app if needs be). 2. Never take more than 4 weeks to get an idea to market.. to be cont'd

    There's been a $1B+ software tech IPO in Boston every year for the last decade. And many, many, many more acquisitions. Bio is great, but Boston is easily the second best city in tech, measured by liquidity.
