I was recently talking to about solder mask quality. So I dug up some pictures I have of different orders for comparison. seems to do better when they are responsible for assembly. DGAF.

is working on a really slick looking portable with a full rubber keyboard. He designed a mould a while ago for casting the keyboard in silicone. 3D printing works only so well with tiny features like here so I offered to mill it for him in acrylic [Thread] /1

Single step debugging C# code that is onboard the FPGA! Visual Studio, USB only, no JTAG. WROOM-32 and bootloader 😍 . Embedded device programming has come a long way! 😎

Thread! Here's a writeup of something I've been wanting to try for a long time, a qwerty handheld with custom-designed silicone keyboard. The display used is the 4" 720x720 square "HyperPixel". It's still an early non-functional prototype but I think it has potential!

i've been playing around with Iomega Bernoulli drives and disks recently, and i discovered something amazing. Iomega's Bernoulli box of 1982 was *not* the first floppy disk to use the Bernoulli principle. that 🏆 goes to LFE's BD-103 of (get this) 1960! (thread)

Wow! 🤩 That’s some awesome work Trent! I love the idea of using the TinyFPGA BX as the servo controller. Do you have any source code available online? I’m curious to see more details! 🙂👍🏻

Thank you for subscribing to "Poorly Optimized 8-Bit Assembly Snippets". This thread will be updated frequently as we hack the backend of a C compiler to generate 6502 code without really knowing what we're doing

Open source fpga flickerfixer for the A500 is amazing so far. Using the DE10 lite and an adapter board to get the signals from denise produces the most clear image from the amiga. 😄 Warning this is still in development and a work in progress.

Didn't expect OpenCV's matchTemplate to work so well. Gave it a few cell templates and this came out in 10 seconds o_o 's picture quality certainly counts a lot
