Hey @TeamYouTube here's an idea. Run ads targeted at younger audiences on regular videos, and run ads targeted at adults on age restricted ones. If @Pornhub users can monetize their videos, there's no reason why YT creators shouldn't be able to as well.

Ohh sorry didn't notice that in the first tweet, I still think that getting advertisers that are willing to put ads on Age restricted videos can be a lot harder, and companies who have no problem with running ads on these kind of videos might drive away other bigger advertisers

At the end of the day, more ads means more money for youtube, if youtube decided they aren't putting ads on thess kind of videos it's probably because they think it'll cause them to lose more money than gain

Yeah, that's the problem with it. Relies on companies being able to suck it up and accept working with a company that works with non-family friendly companies. I'm sure if they tried hard enough they could come to an agreement.

It’s all bullshit. The companies want to pay the lowest CPI they can and so will incessantly complain about everything they can until YouTube buckles.

All perfectly reasonable from a business standpoint. Just sucks for the consumers at the end of the day.
