Thanks for hosting me! Denno Coil is definitely one of the top 2 (with Rainbows End) best descriptions of what AR can be. Everyone interested in AR should watch it.

*CORRECTION - about my demo. I did not see dynamic occlusion (hand occlusion), but the MLOne certainly does environment occlusion.

Also, should clarify about occlusion - I did not see any dynamic/hand occlusion. The device is certainly capable of static occlusion around stationary objects.

Another issue that came to light was the amount of adjustment needed to fit each person. Unit size, corrective lenses, nose bridges... this is not a pass-it-around device and will be hard to demo. Creative mktg will be needed once its consumer ready.

Brief demo of last night. Initial thoughts: + Comfy, Light + Sounds Decent + Tónandi rocks + FOV feels better - No glasses - A bit dark - No occlusion I would like to see an app that leverages most of its features and shows me something that other devices cannot do.

Pro Tip: You can use the Leap Motion’s infrared view to find tracking problems. Reflections of AC, no good.

Here’s another video that better shows the use of a ray casting reticle - it’s super nice to have ray casting that “just works”, and naturally gives you the orientation of the surface hit to boot.
