Most attendees, from most conferences, just don't gamble. They do, however, drink, and eat, EVERYTHING!

Heard this story about the first time that DECUS, the Digital Equipment Computers (aka DEC) Users Society conference was held in LV at Hilton / LVCC. At the end of the week Hilton came to con leadership and said "We don't want you back" 1/2

2/2 Hilton peeps had never seen a con where people walked from rooms straight thru the casino w/o stopping and actually attend the con. Had given attendees cheaper room rates w/idea they'd make it up gambling. We knew the odds tho. Lol
