I bet, but what's the GPU cost? Deferred lighting can be costly, no? I started experimenting with it for my dungeon generator but have not had a chance to run a performance analysis yet.

All 3d AAA games use a deferred Renderer or a similar approach. I wrote an article about that on my blog. Performances are good because we're on PC or console. We've (@Agence_WanaDev) a nice project using Windows MR and a deferred Renderer. It's fine! Really, with more than 100
