I don't understand one thing.. Why Doom VFR works with a good frame rate on the PS4 and requires a GTX 1070 to have a decent frame rate on the PC? Guys, have you missed something? I hope it'll not be the same thing for Fallout 4 VR!

not sure what engine Doom VFR uses but most engines don't support multi-res shading on PC platforms (currently only PSVR and Oculus mobile at the moment.

the technology isn't that great for visual quality though. PC VR users are used to seeing better and would probably notice.

Have you tried Doom VFR? If you don't have a very good GPU (1070..) the quality is horrible. Too much aliasing so I don't think it can be worst.
