It's a great demo, but history suggests they are over selling it. Eg. How is it culling the table or audience automagically??

Actually if you pay attention to the final scanned 3D model the star & shell are on the opposite side to real one on the table,

If not prerendered, their rendering algorithm is wrong. I suspect it's prerendered though.
