Basically I want to integrate the GPU Particle System into C3DE. I've a modified version (without the XML stuff. I've a new way to produce effects). But it's on MSPL. Also there are some Microsoft Copyright in the header of the sources (including shaders)
Quick question, is the MSPL compatible with MIT license? I've a project released under MIT license and I want to use/modify/redistrubute some code from old XNA samples under MSPL. Is it possible or not? cc @MonoGameTeam @SimonDarksideJ

From my understanding, you can't change the license, but you're free to redistribute if you keep license and copyright information.

What's about the code? Many things are changed. Can I just add a comment in the header with the original license and the link to the original sources?

As far as I understand, mspl was the precursor to mit. All the old xna source as all free to reuse/distribute and alter if that helps

Because I would like to integrate a modified version of the GPU particle system into C3DE. But there are some Copyrights in sources' headers. So I want to be 100% sure I can integrate them.
