I use Mi A2, too. How do you do it? What setting needed?
The Milky Way (our Galaxy) taken (using a Xiaomi Mi A2) this morning at 3:30am from my garden at St Marcel en Dombes (France). That wasn't expected so it was very quick. Can't wait to take more time to make better photos. #astronomy #Astrophotography #milkywaypic.twitter.com/ad0W1MPhGG

You just have to use the manual mode in the camera app and select your exposure time as well as the ISO. For the milky way starting 8sec @ 3200 ISO gives results. You have to buy a tripod if you want to make a photo with a long exposure.
