I agree about the SDK they try to improve it, but the last is a nightmare in Unity. I tried your hack to get inputs back but it didn't worked at all. On UE4 it's a serious problem, it's also in late because it's always locked to the previous release.
Is that the 3.0 is very different than 2.x and that's great because they added a lot of features. But they are poorly documented. So strange the buttons aren't working for you... is there something I can do to help?
I don't know, I posted on the forum. That's a shame because I wanted to submit the game to the store but I'm stock with this issue. I'll try the controller emulator to try to debug it quickly. Thanks for your help ;)
You can't use the last version because it's not compatible. To be honest in my company we don't use it because of that. I do t recommend it for pros because it's hard to construct a long and serious on it. It's cool to hack like OSVR in the old time.
The focus is imho not a final product. As a developer I like to make things on it because it's open. But I can't recommend it for complex business apps. Like training, simulation, etc... Now I would love they fix the SDKs and maybe we'll be able to make serious content.
