I just tried the @RiftCat VRidge Controller on my Android phone to emulate a second controller with my Oculus Go. It works incredibly well :D I would love to have an option to change the rotation in the hand, and also lock the switch hand option.

I liked it as well (and also reviewed it), but having the phone in the hand is not that ergonomic... I was also intrigued by the possibility to use keyboard+mouse to interact with VR app
It's easier with a small phone. But there is an open SDK. I've a DIY working 3DOF controller made using an Arduino. I'll write a driver for Rift at 8-)
