There's no mention of Linux support for it, which could have some pretty big effects on us not getting games. Will it be getting Linux support?

We can't assume that though, especially since the Epic Store isn't on Linux (yet?). PC is generally used in place of Windows, so we always have to check.
Unreal Engine Editor works on Linux (but you've to compile the sources), it can deploy on Linux too. This system will be integrated into UE4 so I don't know why it can't work on Linux too ;)

As always though, plugins and middleware don't always support Linux, hence us checking.
