My 9 year old daughter went to a sleepover. She somehow needed an entire duffle bag with clothing and supplies. By comparison if we tell her twin brother to pack for vacation he’ll emerge three minutes later with 2 t-shirts and a pair of jeans thrown into a plastic grocery bag.

This is a very important thread to read. It's horrific and should have never happened. Hospitals are not supposed to be prisons. I am still absolutely terrified for anyone I care about to check in to a hospital.

2 years ago today, my mom took her last breath in the hospital after being there for over a month with no visitors allowed. We couldn’t see her or hug her or hold her hand to comfort her. Losing her was tough, but the way it happened made it so much worse. It was traumatic.
