Power has now been restored to nearly all customers, per PG&E. Crews inspected 800 miles of power lines and found some damage from the extreme weather.

PG&E is shutting off power for 27,000 customers in the Sierra Foothills starting soon as extreme heat and wind increase the risk of wildfire. It will have a resource center open in Oroville tomorrow with water and air conditioning. Welcome to fire season.
