I hope your right about Peterson but I could totally see Peterson founding a new Scientology-like "church". He reminds me a lot of Hubbard, and Maps of Meaning is a lot like Dianetics.

I've thought for a long time that people gravitate toward conservatism because its easy, and that seems to be Peterson, basically. It's much easier to compartmentalize yourself off than it is to look outward.

I think it was Trotsky who said that, if the communist/socialist party is the party of revolutionary hope, then fascism is that of counter-revolutionary despair. Peterson and his ilk are more than proof of that.

I will never understand how you people draw these ridiculous conclusions. Dozens of people have credited Peterson with turning then away from the Alt Right. Maybe I should just stop reading when I see the words fascism and JBP in the same sentence.
