We attempted to pass a couple of clear attempts at fraud on (one of which seemed to involved using a bank's internal sort code to channel money!) but were referred back to the web form, which wasn't nuanced enough to handle them. Eventually we gave up.

That form is not fit for purpose...

This is horrifying to have confirmed what I’ve suspected for a few years. After watching a parliamentary committee with the man in charge of online fraud a while ago, it was blatantly obvious this was data collecting and only extreme rich targets, easy cases were looked at.
-
I met a researcher at a conference who was researching data collected by Action Fraud, who said it was a mess. They do not even ask the same questions when people call - rendering data useless for any large analysis.

My First reply from Action Fraud when I reported my
#catfish#scam back in June - hence I then had to re-do and put figures in for them to listen and act !!!!! Going to be a lengthy process I feel, still....... Too say I was disappointed was a HUGE under statement@AnnaRowe123pic.twitter.com/9Rb4G7e3PM

I believe all the numbers, accounts and other evidence was still live and traceable when you reported this yet they still did nothing
