The first @vaxxedthemovie was pure antivax propaganda disguised as a documentary. It was so blatant and manipulative that it works make Leni Riefenstahl, were she alive, blush and say, "Too much!"https://twitter.com/PeterHotez/status/1189862424796684288 …

Now, I’d love to see you show compassion and empathy for families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment and are uniquely vulnerable to infectious disease. Go ahead.

I have tremendous compassion for families and children who are undergoing cancer treatment. Enough to want more for them than the false sense of security that vaccine mandates can provide. Enough to explore the origins of their diseases more closely.https://www.greenmedinfo.health/blog/vaccine-compliance-equivalent-public-health-safety …

Except that it's not the "truth." It's misattribution of causation, misinformation, pseudoscience, quackery, and conspiracy theories.
-
Give people access to information and let them determine the truth. Your name-calling and dismissal of parent's observations are neither truth nor science. https://www.jeremyrhammond.com/2019/10/17/how-the-media-lie-about-why-parents-dont-vaccinate/ …

I don’t want “compassion” from people who believe in dangerous pseudoscience and view my daughter as a worthless, subhuman burden.
-
It wouldn't be compassion for anyone to think of your daughter that way. I don't think that's how anyone who is seeking safer vaccines and medical freedom feels.

I know the frustration and heartbreak that comes with having a nonverbal, severely autistic child. That does not justify promoting pseudoscience and endangering public health. Those parents are using anti-vaxx as a way of dealing with their anger and to justify their self-pity.

Those families asked those filmmakers to make this film. If you want to empathize with them you must first listen to their stories. This film is what allowed them to share their experiences.
