I think it would be more helpful to weight bans by the size of the economies involved. We need the US and EU on board.

Read today US banks are required to freeze bank accounts and report to Feds if people admit to the bank the funds they put back into their acct came from crypto. Some crypto businesses are on fraud alerts for money laundering.

you are wrong, if you are following closely, you can see how Chinese govt. slowly learned more and more about crypto, it starts from banning people creating exchanges within boarder to more and more harder restrictions, now it finally decides to wipe out crypto completely
