I haven't heard about any US journalist or otherwise being put into jail because of the executive branch or the president himself. You all are fear mongering hard-core on yourselves. Kudos though for your work as a journalist

The story he was recounting was that his 11-year-old son was fearful of his father being sent to jail. I believe the point of the story was to indicate how the state of our country is not one where children feel safe.
-
I feel like that is as much to do with the parents fault as anything. As a child that young, I sympathize and I feel bad that any child would feel that way. But, at the same time, do most children feel this way unless they are fed information in a certain way?
-
Since the president refers to "fake news" & "enemies of the people in every available media format, it'd be hard to escape notice, even by an 11yr old.
-
In this day and age, most likely. But there is a lot of fake news out there. That's not to say that he is absolutely right in everything he says or endorses, but there is a lot of fake out there that will get your kids in a lot of trouble just as much.
-
I'm sorry, but I don't understand your tweet. The speaker was referencing how the president's statements about his profession were frightening his 11 yr old. I'm not sure what you mean by kids getting in trouble.
-
I think it could be a good learning moment between he and his son about freedom of speech and journalism in this country. About how it's been called names but it still stands today doing what it does, shouldn't do, or should do.
-
What kind of lesson does it teach him about the presidency and, perhaps more importantly, a Congress which fails in its Constitutional duty to serve as a check & balance?

Yet for nearly two years we have been led to believe our President had acted in a treasonous manner, and was compromised by Russia. Then Mueller's report stated otherwise. How was that so incorrectly reported? Myself and others would like a reasonable explanation.
-
Because that's not what the Mueller Report said. You should try reading it.
-
So he did conspire to warp the '16 election by utilizing Russian sourcing? Is that what the conclusion stated? Really?
-
DOES NOT EXONERATE. Try reading report. MUELLER unable to indict due to justice department rules (Barr) that a sitting president can't be indicted. Report a road map for impeachment by congress.
-
Please cite the crime of conspiracy --- there never was evidence of one. The non-exoneration is about obstruction --- but then when is a prosecutor's job to exonerate? Never. The determination is whether or not to charge in a crime. Impeachment? Surely you jest, it's a loser.
-
Audible is providing a free download of the Mueller Report as an audio file. You don't even have to read it for yourself.
-
Again, cite the crime, there never was a crime to investigate, nor any evidence. Mueller knew this within months of his appointment, yet it dragged on for two years, with all formal charges unrelated to conspiracy or they were process crimes. Please don't highlight your ignorance.
-
It's not *my* ignorance being highlighted here. Just trying to help you think for yourself. It's your choice to critically read/listen to the complete report, or not.

So, they decided not to have a comedian this year and chose on something better. Bravo. These are no longer laughing matters.
-
What is scary is that the media, as we know it, is losing its powerful grip on shaping the minds of the American public. Social media has provide a outlet for all people to feel inclusiveness with their political leanings. Fading is, the pen is mightier than the sword.

It is ALWAYS about Trump...they can’t just go on and live their lives without him dominating everything they do and say.
-
This is the White House Correspondence Association Dinner. Do you expect them to talk about the NFL draft? Their jobs dictate that they focus on whoever is in the White House.
-
Perhaps it would be more accurate to call them golf writers.
