Abusers will always be the aggrieved party. I once hurt my father's feelings for not being grateful enough. So he hurt me back. All the while talking about the damage I had done. Abusers always blame the targets of their abuse.

I've been going through this with my in-laws. Been treating me like crap for years, while I tried to make everyone feel loved & cared for. Finally realized I was fighting a losing battle. I have decided to distance myself & focus on relationships with genuine people in my life.
