Also, one day we’re going to get into how classism actually works among middle class and upper middle class black folks (as opposed, perhaps, to actually wealthy black ppl.)
I feel like I’m almost to the point where I have something useful to say on the whole “black people who felt alienated from other black people” subject, which I am happy about.

But ultimately I think so much of the representation deficit felt by middle class and/or “nerdy” black folks is tied up in how white supremacy and classism blind us to our own beauty & nobility,
