If you ever want to be furious, look up any critic's reviews of Whitney's albums. This blasphemy. Everyone involved ought to be miserably, violently ashamed of themselves.

also the way these journalists talk about The Bodyguard as a Whitney album but not The Preachers Wife which actually has MORE of Whitney... argh.

I'm just so frustrated that these writers just fundamentally did not understand what they were listening to. Jon Pareles was complaining about "sudden timbre shifts" like... LISTEN! TO CHURCH! MUSIC! Or just like... R&B!
