If you ever want to be furious, look up any critic's reviews of Whitney's albums. This blasphemy. Everyone involved ought to be miserably, violently ashamed of themselves.

The way that Jon Pareles disrespected Whitney Houston and is still... STILL the chief pop music critic at the Times. I am truly appalled.

I'm just so frustrated that these writers just fundamentally did not understand what they were listening to. Jon Pareles was complaining about "sudden timbre shifts" like... LISTEN! TO CHURCH! MUSIC! Or just like... R&B!
