I get that material conditions are your jam if you’re a Marxist but culture is real, emotions are real, intangibles are real and yes, sometimes people will choose those intangibles over material things.

This in response to seeing a tweet by a socialist fave about BLM and how he disagreed with their concern for police getting punished for killing people. Should the bottom line be 100% don’t kill us? Does the emotional value of “seeing justice done” matter at all?
