A thought: if you are white and “not racist,” but you say things similar/identical to the things racists say about race/culture/politics/current events/black stuff, how are black people supposed to know the difference?
Third, prolly every nonwhite person (not just black folks) who hangs in at least one majority-white social circle has a story of being Surprised By Whiteness. Especially in this Trump era? Whew! The racist jumped out of a lot of white folks during that election.

So what are we supposed to do? Treat you like the not-very-racist you claim to be or the maybe-pretty-racist you resemble? What would you do in our shoes?

And, if this very basic exercise in empathy has never occurred to you... might I suggest to you that there is some possibility that you are not as un/anti-racist as you believe yourself to be?
