Dems DO need to push a more aggressive economic agenda, but frankly besides being ethical, that’s just in response to changing economic, social, and political conditions since the Great Recession but really since the 70s and stagflation.
I think the “Dems have to push a more aggressive economic agenda in order to get white votes” crowd is dumb and loud and wrong, but I’m grateful that they gateway drug’d me to actual socialists, lol.

Monopsony, automation, etc means the government needs to take a firmer hand in ensuring productivity gains are distributed fairly to labor and not hoarded in such an exhorbitant fashion by capital. The technocrats will hopefully be saying that by 2020.

I don’t really think that’s true either, honestly. Again, Dems should have a more aggressive economic agenda bc it is smart and good, but I’m not all that convinced it’ll motivate many new voters til it gets passed, if then.
