Also let’s be real: there ARE some “black people” jokes that white people can make: just accurate observations that don’t reinforce racism. Like on culture kings pod they were talking about some white dude on Comic View who made a joke about how black ppl love raspberry lemonade.
This is just factual! Black folks love us some fruit-flavored lemonade. You see a black family at Cheesecake with zero fruit-flavored lemonades that’s some unicorn negroes. If there’s brown bread left in the basket, they prolly aliens and I would get out of there.
White folks could make a joke about shit like that and odds are it would be hilarious and not racist. OTOH “my black coworker never shows up on time,” WHILE IT MAY ALSO BE TRUE (esp if I am your coworker), is just not funny from a white person bc the whole centuries of oppression
